Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian cricketer, on Saturday, August 8, got engaged to YouTuber Dhanashree Verma. After the happy moments, the 30-year-old Haryana leg-spin bowler couldn’t hold on to his excitement and quite instantly, he shared a few adorable pictures with his partner, who is also known to be a doctor as per her Instagram profile.
Chahal captioned the picture and wrote, “We said “Yes” along with our families #rokaceremony.” In the coronavirus pandemic, Chahal didn’t miss out on entertaining the fans by any means. He posted quite a few hilarious videos on Tik-Tok. However, after the Indian government banned 59 Chinese applications, he hasn’t been on the platform.
In the meantime, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have some words of advice for Chahal. They hilariously asked the bowler to listen to his ‘queen’ in order to avoid a ‘checkmate’. The IPL franchise replied to Chahal and wrote, “Congratulations guys! Personal advice to Yuzi from the Kings: Surrender to the Queen, otherwise checkmate only!”

Chahal to make comeback in September
As far as his on-field duties are concerned, he hasn’t had any after the month of February. He was last a part of the Men in Blue in the T20I and ODI series against New Zealand. In the tour, he bowled his heart out and though India won the 20-overs format 5-0, they couldn’t avoid a 0-3 drubbing in the ODI format.
Chahal is now set to make his comeback in September in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the T20 league, he plies his trade for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), led by Virat Kohli, who’s also the national skipper. Chahal has been a stalwart for the IPL franchise after he moved from the Mumbai Indians (MI), for whom he made his IPL debut.
Chahal made his debut for India back in 2016 and has been an integral part of the ODI and T20Is teams. In 52 ODIs and 42 T20Is, he has picked up 91 and 55 wickets respectively. He is yet to play Test cricket though. Coming back to his personal life, he will have massive responsibilities waiting for him.
