Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who played the lead role in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, the biopic of India’s limited-overs cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was lauded by fans and critics alike for his efforts behind the preparation and performance in the movie. The movie has earned over Rs. 200 crore world over and has also been tagged a blockbuster.

Reports in Mumbai Mirror suggested that following the success of his recent release Sushant Singh Rajput has hiked his fees for his upcoming films and also doubled his price. He is now demanding Rs 3.5- Rs 4 crore as the signing amount for a film.

A Bollywood website quoted the CEO of a top production house saying, “That is the standard practice of any star. If you deliver a 200-Crore sizzler, you demand a higher price. But the problem here is Sushant thinks the film has become a hit because of him, not for MS Dhoni,”

The portal also went on to suggest that Sushant has become arrogant in his approach and that can be seen the way he interacts with reporters at various event. At an event, when a scribbler congratulated him as his film made it to the 100 crore club, Sushant rather than thanking him corrected the reporter and said, ‘Double ho gayi hai mujhe lagta hai (It has crossed Rs 200 crore).
