India may have won the World Cup more than seven years ago but the memories refuse to fade away. The sight of Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni forming a once in a millennial partnership. The winning shot, India lifting the trophy, Sachin Tendulkar on the team’s shoulders everything comes back in one frame. No doubt it was the greatest day in Indian cricketing history for the current generation.
Sushant Singh Rajput once again relived Dhoni‘s six in the World Cup final. The actor who portrayed Dhoni’s character in his biopic put up a video of his reel six from the movie alongside the original one. Sushant was just perfect in his role as Captain Cool in the movie and gained many accolades for the same and his acting was widely acknowledged.
Not many would have done as much justice to the role as Sushant. The six was followed by Yuvraj Singh running towards Dhoni and hugging him. Soon, the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Yusuf Pathan ran in the field in no time it looked like the realization of a dream. In the dressing room, all the players along with the coach Gary Kirsten were over the moon.
Here is Sushant Singh Rajput’s tweet:

The actor will soon be seen in the movie Kedarnath which is going to release in the first week of December. On the other hand, MS Dhoni has been off the field following his exclusion from the T20 international side for the Windies series and the ongoing three-match affair in Australia.
His next assignment will be in January when India gear up for the One-Day International series against Australia. They will play quite a few ODIs in 2019 in the lead up to the World Cup in England.
