Ever since the Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Rashid Khan in the 2017 IPL auction, the Afghan spinner has been at the global map of the cricketing fraternity. His performances in various T20 tournaments across the globe helped him earn humongous amount of respect and is touted as one of the best players in the shortest format.

The 20-year-old is doing a pretty amazing job in the latest format as well, the T10 league. Rashid is currently representing the Maratha Arabians in the T10 League and in the Wednesday’s fixture against the Pakhtoons, his efforts with the bat and ball went in vain. But the moment of the game still belonged to him as he helicoptered Mohammad Irfan over mid-wicket with surgical precision.

The tall lanky pacer Irfan bowled right in his arc and the Afghan pulled off MS Dhoni‘s trademark shot. The ease with which he managed to send that white ball over the fence flummoxed a lot of people in the crowd and his dressing room.

Here’s the video of that incredible shot from the blade of Rashid:

Pakhtoons and Rajputs register crucial wins

It was a great day at the office for both Pakhtoons and Rajputs in the T10 League as they registered important wins in their respective games on Wednesday. The Pakhtoons sit firmly on top of the amalgamated table whilst the Rajputs finally opened their account and stand fifth.

With some blazing knocks from Najibullah Zadran, Kamran Akmal and Rashid Khan, the Maratha Arabians posted a mammoth 125 runs on the board in 10 overs. Unfortunately, this total wasn’t good enough for them to secure a win as Cameron Delport, Shafiqullah Shafiq and Colin Ingram helped the Pakhtoons chase the total down with four balls remaining.

Windies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite was at the nucleus of action as Rajputs managed to defend a moderate total. Brendon McCullum, Riley Rossouw and Brathwaite’s blitzkrieg hlped their side post 117 runs batting first against the Punjab Legends. In reply, the Legends could only muster 105 runs, eventually surrendering to a 12-run defeat.
