Two teams which have suffered contrasting outcomes thus far will be battling each other at the Wankhede on Tuesday to try and find a way to the semifinals. Whilst the Arcs Andheri have done a decent enough job to strongly expect a place in the semis, the Eagle Thane Strikers find themselves seventh on the table with just one win.

The senior players in the Andheri side have stepped up, much to the elation of the franchise owners. Same cannot be said about the Thane Strikers who are struggling to find a perfect combination to try and garner some points on the table and stay relevant.

Skipper Aditya Tare will have to inspire his troops to deliver a much intense and strong performance on Tuesday as a defeat here could make things very difficult for them in the table. They still have a clear path towards a final, but they need to win most of their games from here on and leave complacency aside.

Weather and Pitch Report

Since it will be an evening game, the weather will get a little pleasant on the Western coast with no particular chances of rain halting the play. By the time the game begins, there will be already 40-overs played on the track which might not make batting easy for both teams. It might not be a high-scoring game with the spinners coming into the fore big time.

The experience of Akhil Herwadkar in the top order has been pivotal in the tournament thus far and the Arcs would want him and their skipper, Kevin Almeida, to continue the good work. Shubham Rajane and Praful Waghela are other dependable names in the middle order. The bowling department will be dependent on Iqbal Abdulla and Tushar Deshpande to lead the other youngsters successfully.

Their opening combination has not worked pretty well, but having Aditya Tare and Sarfaraz Khan in middle order adds so much strength to the team. Alpesh Ramjani, Sachin Wagh and Aishwary Surve coming in the middle order. Ankush Jaiswal and Kruthik Hanagavadi will take the new ball with Sagar Mishra and Siddhant Singh bowling some crucial overs in the middle stages.
