Suryakumar Yadav who played a significant role in Mumbai Indians’ triumphant IPL 2019 campaign has led the Triumph Knights Mumbai North East from the front. So far in the tournament, Suryakumar has scored 188 runs which include a couple of half-centuries. He has an average of 94.00 and a strike-rate of 133.33.

The 28-year-old middle-order batsman has been the most consistent batsman in this tournament. In fact, he has been among the leading run-getter in this tournament. His unbeaten 90 which came in a losing cause was one of his highlights of the season. Triumph Knights MNE the defending champions are still in with a chance of making it to the top four and their skipper’s form has been one of the reasons for their success so far.

Prithvi Shaw is the skipper of the North Mumbai Panthers and their form has fluctuated with the form of the opener. In the first couple of games, the 19-year-old gave them brisk starts and scored over 20 and the Panthers ended up on the winning side. In the third game, he scored 14 and didn’t play in the fourth one which resulted in losses for the Panthers.

Shaw has looked in good touch right from the start of the IPL but hasn’t been able to convert his starts. He scored one fifty in this tournament which helped his team to win the game. In the T20 Mumbai, he has a lot more to offer the team leading them. With 89 runs in three games, it has not been the best of seasons for Shaw. He would now want to redeem himself and the side as they approach the business end.

He had created a reputation of being a big hitter who could chip in with vital overs as well with the previous edition of the T20 Mumbai. However, a couple of failures at the start of the season and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pushed him to the bench.

Even in this tournament, Dube failed in the first two innings for the Shivaji Park Lions but he showed what he brings to the team in the other game. He scored a valiant unbeaten 87 waging a lone battle for Shivaji Park. He has a strike-rate of 164.40 while amassing 97 runs so far. With the ball, he’s bowled just under eight overs and picked up four wickets.

5. Arjun Tendulkar: 87 runs and 4 wickets (4 games)

Arjun Tendulkar is one player most eyes were pinned on. The left-handed all-rounder seems to grab attention whenever and wherever he plays. He has been in and around Mumbai cricket and the India Under-19 team for a while now. Arjun has played a vital role in Aakash Tigers MWS’ campaign so far.

Coming in at 10/2, the 21-year-old batted really well to score 57 and with that helped his team chase down the 137-run target. However, in the other two games, he failed and so did the Strikers.

So far in T20 Mumbai, he has contributed 75 runs to the team. Sarfraz was a part of the Kings XI Punjab side in the IPL this season. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2019-rcbs-shivam-dube-speaks-high-about-virat-kohlis-captaincy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shivam Dube</a> was one of the big names going into this year’s IPL. He had created a reputation of being a big hitter who could chip in with vital overs as well with the previous edition of the T20 Mumbai. However, a couple of failures at the start of the season and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pushed him to the bench.
Even in this tournament, Dube failed in the first two innings for the Shivaji Park Lions but he showed what he brings to the team in the other game. He scored a valiant unbeaten 87 waging a lone battle for Shivaji Park. He has a strike-rate of 164.40 while amassing 97 runs so far. With the ball, he’s bowled just under eight overs and picked up four wickets.
<h3>5. Arjun Tendulkar: 87 runs and 4 wickets (4 games)</h3>

Arjun Tendulkar is one player most eyes were pinned on. The left-handed all-rounder seems to grab attention whenever and wherever he plays. He has been in and around Mumbai cricket and the India Under-19 team for a while now. Arjun has played a vital role in Aakash Tigers MWS’ campaign so far.
In the batting department, coach <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/sachin-tendulkar-trolls-vinod-kambli-while-thanking-him-for-the-birthday-wishes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vinod Kambli</a> initially sent him to bat at No. 3 but in the last couple of games, has was promoted up to open the batting. Arjun has been getting constant starts but has failed to kick on and get substantial scores. With the ball, the left-arm seamer has picked up four wickets but has been expensive.
However, he was impressive in his last outing when he picked up 3/27 bowling a couple of excellent overs at the death.
<h3>6. Sarfaraz Khan: 75 runs (3 games)</h3>

Whenever Sarfaraz Khan fired, his team, Eagle Thane Strikers was on the winning side. He scored a match-winning fifty in Strikers’ win over the Akash Tigers. Coming in at 10/2, the 21-year-old batted really well to score 57 and with that helped his team chase down the 137-run target. However, in the other two games, he failed and so did the Strikers.
So far in T20 Mumbai, he has contributed 75 runs to the team. Sarfraz was a part of the Kings XI Punjab side in the IPL this season. He played just five games and that too at the start of the season before he being designated to warm the benches. He was in decent form (180 runs in five innings) and was a tad unlucky to miss out on quite a few games.
