Aaron Finch wasn’t really in the best of forms to start the tournament with. He wasn’t able to make a mark in his team’s first two games against the Proteas and Sri Lanka. However, his performances in the next two games were superb.

Despite a rather dismal performance by the Aussies in their game against England, he was one of the few positives. The Aussie skipper scored the most number of runs for Australia in that game. He got to 44 off 49 deliveries and tried his best to anchor the innings.

However, it was his performance in the next game which proved everyone why he is truly back to form. The Aussie opener went all guns blazing against Bangladesh and scored a quick 40. It took him just the 20 balls to ensure that his team wins big against their opponents.
