Veteran West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is set to release a new soundtrack titled “World Champions.” The Caribbean star took to Instagram on Wednesday (October 20) and shared a teaser of his upcoming music video. In the 25-second long clip, many other West Indies cricketers like Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, and Sunil Narine can be seen shaking their legs alongside Bravo.

Like Bravo’s previous world-famous track, “Champions”, this song is also set to have the Caribbean flavour and grooviness attached to it. The 37-year-old dedicated the song to West Indies’s triumph in the T20 World Cup 2016 in India. The Men in Maroon performed magnificently throughout that tournament and lifted the prestigious title for the record second time. They defeated England in the final clash at Kolkata to get the glory.

Dwayne Bravo’s latest track set to enhance West Indies’ morale

As the Caribbean side is gearing up to defend its title in T20 World Cup 2021, Bravo’s latest track must enhance his side’s morale. Meanwhile, the right-arm bowler mentioned that his track would be out soon. “NEW MUSIC!#MaroonFans!! It’s almost time for the world premiere of “World Champions” by the Champion @DJBravo47! #T20WorldCup #MissionMaroon #WorldChampions Sung by @DJBravo47 Music by #JoannaHutton and #ElvinCox Full song soon,” Bravo captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Bravo was in sensational touch in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He bowled one sensational spell after another as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lifted the title for the fourth time. As far as his numbers are concerned, the veteran scalped 14 wickets in 11 games with his economy rate being 7.81.

It has to be noted that Bravo majorly operated in the death overs. Hence, these numbers are truly impressive. He also played some handy cameos to help the MS Dhoni-led side. With the T20 World Cup 2021 taking place in same conditions, the star cricketer would be raring to replicate his heroics and bag another prestigious T20 title.

Meanwhile, West Indies will kick start their campaign against England on October 23 in at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. With many match-winners in the ranks, the Kieron Pollard-led side is expected to go a long way. However, the players need to perform as a unit to retain the title.
