T20 World Cup 2021: Match 36 – New Zealand vs Namibia Match Preview, Playing XI and broadcast details
Gerhard Erasmus and Co. are in a must-win position going into their remaining two Super 12 matches.
New Zealand and Namibia are all set to face each other in the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup 2021 on Friday, November 5 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah. The Black Caps, led by Kane Williamson, have well and truly recovered from their five-wicket defeat at the hands of Pakistan.
The Kiwis thrashed India by eight wickets after which they won against Scotland by 16 runs. But being placed at No.3, Williamson’s men have work to do if they want to qualify for the semi-final. The Gerhard Erasmus-captained Namibia, on the other hand, have put in spirited performances thus far.
Despite their losses to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Namibia grabbed the spotlight courtesy of their grit and exuberance. Having lost two games in the Super 12, Erasmus and Co. need to pull a rabbit out of the hat if they wish to go beyond the second round. Getting past the Black Caps won’t be a walk in the park.
