Afghanistan’s participation was initially uncertain because of some political troubles back home. However, they were finally able to get into the World Cup. The team has been growing over the years and this World Cup gives them an excellent chance to prove their spirit as a team.

To represent their spirit, their jersey is an excellent object. It is quite similar to what they have sported before and the blue color completely dominates the jersey. The flag of the nation is represented on the shoulder and the red color also occupies the right most corner.
