Cricket is a gentleman’s game. And, whatever competition might be there on the field, when the players go off the field, everything is left behind. It was this ‘Gentleman’ spirit that the Indian cricket team displayed after their crushing win over Scotland.
After the match, the Indian players and support staff interacted with the players from the opposition camp. The Scotland players wanted to visit the Indian dressing room, and the Indians obliged.
The BCCI released a video on their official Twitter handle regarding the same. In the video, the likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, MS Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin are seen sharing their knowledge with the players from the opposition camp. India’s batting coach Vikram Rathour is also seen in the video interacting with an official.

India thrash Scotland by 8 wickets to move to third place
On the field though, India showed absolutely no mercy, as they pulverized the Scotland side by 8 wickets in a totally one-sided clash. Batting first, Scotland were bowled out for 85, and India chased down the target in a meager 6.3 overs.
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul put on a marauding stand of 70 runs off just 5 overs to blow away the Scotland bowling attack. The Indian side is now placed at the 3rd place in the points table in the Super 12 stages of the tournament. Virat Kohli and his boys have won 2 out of the 4 matches that they have played.
India will next lock horns with the Namibia outfit on 8th November 2021 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
