Team India dominated the proceedings against Afghanistan in their previous T20 World Cup fixture on Wednesday. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli thus appeared to be in a happy mood during the match in Abu Dhabi. A video of the 32-year-old dancing to the tunes of a famous Bollywood song has been making the rounds on social media platforms.

The Men in Blue locked horns with the Afghans at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on November 3. After being put in to bat first, India had put a massive total on the board and the bowlers then took charge to defend it. While fielding in the match, Kohli was spotted making a dance move at the boundary line that grabbed the attention of the spectators.

Virat Kohli dances on a renowned Bollywood song

Kohli did a step on the song ‘My Name is Lakhan.’ As soon as the crowd saw the Indian skipper enjoying the beats of the music, they went all crazy and started cheering for him. The batter is one of the most celebrated and followed cricketers in the world. Virat has a huge fan base that is always raring to catch a glimpse of him.

Thus, it is a no-brainer that the video fetched a lot of attention from the cricket on-lookers. However, this wasn’t the first time that he was spotted dancing. Earlier in the 2016 T20 World Cup as well, Kohli showed off his dance moves on the song ‘Gallan Goodiyan’.

Talking about the match, Kohli did not come to bat in the game against Afghanistan. India’s opener Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul provided the team with a steady start and stitched a partnership of 140 runs. However, when Rohit Sharma lost his wicket to Karim Janat, Rishabh Pant came in to bat after being promoted up the order.

Soon, KL Rahul departed with 69 runs to his account, and Hardik Pandya wielded the willow go good effect. Both Pant and Pandya stayed firm and finished India’s innings on a high note as the team posted a target of 211 runs for the opposition to chase down. The bowlers then took the mantle to restrict Afghanistan to just 144 runs as India registered a victory by 66 runs.
