T20 spectacle is back in Bangladesh soil with the 11th edition of the highly anticipated Bangladesh Premier League. The cricketing action will over a month, beginning on 27 December 2024 to 7th February, 2025.

Like the previous season, the tournament will witness seven teams fighting for the coveted title. The Bangladesh Cricket Board is yet to announce the schedule for the competition. Meanwhile, the league will follow the regular home and away structure with the double round-robin format in place followed by the Eliminator and two Qualifiers before the finals.

Fortune Barishal are the defending champions and will be hoping to lift their second BPL title. Recently the league announced the Player Draft for the upcoming season, with international stars like Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, and Thisara Perera joining the league.

Chittagong Kings had former Australian pacer Shaun Tait present in their camp during the draft. Tamim Iqbal, a legend of Bangladeshi cricket, joined Fortune Barishal's camp.
