IPL 2025 Most Fours
Defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the curtain-raiser of the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League. The match is scheduled to be played on March 22 at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The mega auction which occurred in Jeddah made for a whole lot of reshaped squads consisting of some of the finest domestic and international talents. The 10 participating teams will be gunning to battle it out during the keenly-awaited tournament.
There have been a whole lot of boundary-laden knocks which have been played over the years. The shots which have pierced the field by finding gaps between fielders have been a treat to witness. Shikhar Dhawan leads the way for the most fours in the history of the IPL, with 768 to his name. Virat Kohli trails his former Indian teammate with 705 fours to his name.
The previous season saw a four being scored after every few balls. A huge amount of intent was shown by batters irrespective of the stage of the game. Travis Head topped the charts with 64 fours in IPL 2024.
Cricket enthusiasts will be hopeful to witness another outstanding display of four-hitting prowess. IPL 2025 is sure to present yet another spectacle for the same.
