IPL 2025 Most Fifties
The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League is set to commence on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders locking horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Cricket connoisseurs are in for a treat as plenty of international stars will be all set to grace the stage in the cricket carnival for the next few months. After an eventful mega auction in Jeddah in November of previous year, the 10 teams will be gearing up to challenge for the revered title.
Across the past many seasons, the IPL has been witness to several stellar batting performances. There have been as many as 1,691 half-centuries which have been scored in the tournament in the 17 seasons played so far. David Warner holds the record for scoring the most number of fifties in the IPL (62). Virat Kohli stands second on the list, possessing 55 fifties under his belt.
Speaking of IPL 2024, there were a total of 128 fifties which were scored. Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Sanju Samson notched up five fifties apiece. Having said that, it will be intriguing to see which player ends up attaining the most number of fifties in IPL 2025.
