WPL 2025 Points Table

The second edition of the Women’s Premier League 2024 will begin from Friday, February 23 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru as Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will take on each other in the opening fixture. Mumbai Indians will have the tough task of defending their title as they embark on their journey led by Harmanpreet Kaur.

The defending champions finished second on the points table last year with six wins from eight matches having 12 points to their name. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals topped the table with six wins from eight matches having 12 points as well but with a better net run rate than Mumbai. Delhi skipper Meg Lanning also finished as the highest run scorer of the tournament with 345 runs to her name from nine innings and won the WPL Orange Cap.

UP Warriorz finished on the third spot with four wins from four matches with eight points to their name and qualified for the Eliminator. However, they failed to beat Mumbai Indians and got knocked out of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants finished on the second-last (fourth) and last (fifth) positions respectively with just two wins from eight matches. Both teams will be eager to put up a better performance in the upcoming season.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see which team finishes where in the upcoming season as well as who will win the WPL Orange Cap and WPL Purple Cap respectively.
