Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Tabraiz Shamsi and Rising Pune Supergiants’ Adam Zampa were involved in a Twitter battle as they took digs on each other on a rather cold backdrop.

It all started when Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner had expressed his disappointment over Tabraiz Shamsi’s wicket celebration after dismissing Warner in the RCB-SRH encounter last week. Shamsi is renowned for his typical ‘bus driver’ celebration. The celebration didn’t go down well with the Aussie and he condemned his moves. RPS bowler Adam Zampa, too, took to Twitter to say Shamsi’s celebration was ‘no good’.

The South African chinaman perhaps waited for the right time to hit back at Zampa. Last night, when RCB defeated RPS, he responded back to Zampa’s tweet citing that the Aussie should better focus on his bowling and form instead of condemning the celebrations of other players. He even mocked Zampa by saying he was not even involved in the game to be tweeting about it.

Zampa later even clarified that he had no issues with the celebrations but only believed that Shamsi could celebrate in a better way. He even suggested a worm celebration instead.

After having seen Shamsi’s retweet, Zampa decided to take another dig at the South African and tweeted a picture with a sure shot indication to Shamsi. He tweeted:

Meanwhile, fellow RCB pacer and Zampa’s Australian team mate Kane Richardson was enjoying the Twitter battle between the two tweakers of different kinds. He tweeted:

Earlier last week, when asked about Shamsi’s celebration, David Warner had quoted, “I was looking at Virat Kohli and I don’t think he was too impressed until he (Shamsi) got a bit closer.”

He had further added, “In my team, if someone does that at 150 off 15 overs, I wouldn’t accept that at all.”
