Wicketkeeping is an art that is quite difficult to be perfect at. But, the world didn’t know that this skill could be transferred via genes. However, after watching Tatenda Taibu’s son, even we have to believe that.

Taibu was one of the finest wicketkeepers which Zimbabwe produced. He was quite a loved player across his country and he is respected throughout the world for his achievements and talent. At one time, he was the youngest player ever to captain a Test side. However, that record now belongs to Rashid Khan.

Recently, the former Zimbabwe wicketkeeper uploaded a video of his son practising wicketkeeping. He uploaded the video from his official Twitter account. The video seemed to be shot in the backyard of Taibu’s residence, where he was helping his son practise wicketkeeping.

In the caption, Taibu revealed that his son was wicketkeeping for the first time. He also asked if it was genes that were making him keep that well. In the tweet, he tagged several famous wicketkeepers and asked for their thoughts. These famous wicketkeepers included ex-Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and current Indian Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha.

Other than the two Indian players, Taibu also tagged Adam Gilchrist, Kamran Akmal, Rashid Latif, Brendan Taylor, Mark Boucher, Denesh Ramdin, Kumar Sangakkara and Shai Hope.
