Team wise jerseys for IPL 10

As the IPL nears its tenth season, teams are busy practising ahead of the iconic tournament. Strategies are being built by each franchise to create a concrete plan of winning the 46-day extravaganza. The IPL has been a household name and attracts excellent viewership not just in India, but overseas as well since it became a regular fixture of Indian cricketing calendar since 2008. The format of T20 is such that it offers a lot of entertainment for cricket lovers all across the world.

As the tournament is just 2 days away, every franchise has already decided upon which jersey they are going in with into the tournament. A few teams are going in with the same jersey they played with last year and top franchises – Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rising Pune Supergiant have unveiled new jerseys for this years’ IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders:

Crowned champions twice – once in 2012 then again in 2014, the Shah Rukh Khan-owned franchise is by far the most glamorous team in the IPL. Having been qualified to the Playoff last year, by way of finishing 4th in the points table, KKR failed to get past eventual champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator held at Delhi last year and hence were knocked out of the tournament. Skipper Gautam Gambhir, who is known to lead from the front, will look to have a better outing this year especially after acquiring big players in the auction earlier this year.

KKR started the IPL with a complete black and tinges of a gold jersey in 2008 and were seen in a purple-golden black jersey until last year. This time though they have gone in with a shade of yellow with purple as the base colour. It remains to be seen if the new jersey will bring a change of luck as far as their performances are concerned.
