His batting average and strike rate in this format are 17.86 and 138.89 respectively. He has also picked 20 wickets in 24 innings in this format. His bowling average and strike rate are 27.05 and 22.5 respectively.

<h3>8) Sri Lanka: Wanindu Hasaranga</h3>

A lot will be depending on the all-rounder this time around if the Lankans are to do well in this T20 WC. He has picked 36 wickets in 24 T20Is so far. His bowling average and strike rate in this format are 15.47 and 14.11 respectively. His economy rate is on the lower side as well (6.58).
The all-rounder has also scored 200 T20I runs with the bat. His T20I batting average and strike rate are 12.5 and 107.53, respectively. Taking the conditions in UAE into consideration, he would fancy himself to justify the hype around him.
