No team has managed to win more IPL games than Mumbai Indians but they do not have the best winning percentage.

The wait is almost about to get over for the 10-teams 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as it is all set to start on Saturday (March 31). Reigning IPL champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad . Gujarat Titans along with Lucknow Super Giants are the two new teams added in the previous edition and Hardik Pandya led team went on to win the title on their debut season.
Most Consistent Teams
Maintaining consistency in the shortest format of the game is never easy for the teams. In a format where a game can change in a blink of an eye, it takes a lot of effort from a team to be consistent in T20s. But over the years, one has seen several teams in IPL maintaining consistency not only in a single season but year after year. So with a brand new season of IPL just about to start, we are taking a look at top 5 teams with the best winning percentage in the tournament.
Chennai Super Kings have the best winning percentage in the IPL so far. The four-time champions have won 121 out of their 209 games and have a winning percentage of 58.41. They are followed by Mumbai Indians who have a winning percentage of 56.7. No team has won more games (131) and more titles (5) than Mumbai in the IPL.
Kolkata Knight Riders are at number three for winning 114 of their 223 games. They have a winning percentage of 51.56. They are followed by Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at number four and five respectively. Rajasthan Royals have a winning percentage of 50.00 for winning 96 of their 192 games. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, have won 75 of their 152 games and have a winning percentage of 49.34. They are followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore at sixth position with 109 wins out of 227 games, having winning percentage of 48.01. Bottom two spots among the regular played teams are Punjab Kings with 101 wins from 218 games with 46.33 as winning percentage and Delhi Capitals with 103 wins from 224 games, having winning percentage as 45.98. The fifteenth edition saw two new teams being featured in the league. Gujarat Titans the defending champions led by Hardik Pandya won 12 games out of 16 played and lost four games with win percentage as 75. KL Rahul led Lucknow Super Giants lost in the eliminator of 2022 edition LSG have won 9 games from 15 games, having win percentage of 60.
