<p>The former glorious left-handed batsman cum wicket keeper for Zimbabwe was indeed a sensational player of the ball. In 213 ODIs, he scored 6786 runs at an average of over 35 and scored 4 centuries coupled with 55 half centuries. The elder of the Flower brothers had undoubtedly instrumental contributions with the bat.</p>

<p>The former Kiwi skipper was a brilliant player of the ball and did manage to make a number of tons. <p>The former skipper of the West Indian line up, the ecstatic stroke player of the ball, Brian Charles Lara scored a total of 10405 runs in ODIs with a total of 19 ODI centuries and 63 half centuries in 299 ODIs. The left-handed batsman had the distinct class and watching him bat, scoring those tons was simply a treat for the eyes. Lara did take the batting standards of West Indies to a whole new level.</p>

He was one of the most consistent batsmen of the South African line up and in 328 ODIs, he averages over 44 which is simply ecstatic. Also, he possesses 17 international centuries alongside 86 half centuries by his name.</p>

<p>The former Pakistani captain, the ecstatic leader leads the chart for them with 11739 runs in 378 ODIs at an average of over 39 with 10 ODI centuries coupled with 83 half centuries. Inzamam was one of the most reliable pros of the Pakistani line up in the ODIs and won the game for them on a number of times in quite a single-handed fashion.</p>

<p>The recently retired sensational batting star of Sri Lanka was a formidable ODI batsman to say the least. In 404 ODIs, Sangakkara scored a total of 25 ODI centuries coupled with 93 half centuries. Though Sanga can be termed one of the best to have played for the island country, but unfortunately, Sangakkara had to retire from ODIs on a rather sad note in the quarter-final of 2015 World Cup after Sri Lanka’s defeat.</p>
