Tendulkar calls Bhuvneshwar Kumar as one of the most dependable player in the side

India’s medium fast-bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been brilliant across all the formats for the Indians. His swinging deliveries have troubled a number of batters around the world. His death over bowling has helped the side exceptionally well over the last couple of years in both ODIs as well T20 games.

As the Meerut-born Kumar turns 28, the fans are pouring in their wishes for the bowler. Fans are using social media to wish the player who is currently with the ODI side for the 6-match series. India is currently leading the series with a margin of 2-0. Bhuvneshwar Kumar had provided India the breakthrough in the second ODI when he had removed opener Hashim Amla.

Current and ex-cricketers too joined the fans in wishing the right-handed pace bowler on his birthday. Little master Sachin Tendulkar too used his social media account on Twitter to wish Kumar on his birthday. In his wish on Twitter, Tendulkar termed Kumar as one of the most dependable players in the Indian side. He also hailed the player for his all-around ability.

Interestingly, Bhuvneshwar Kumar had dismissed Sachin Tendulkar before making his international debut for India. Kumar had handed the little master his one and only score of 0 in the entire domestic career. He was representing Uttar Pradesh during that domestic game and was just 19 years old then.

Kumar was surprisingly dropped in the mid of the Test series after his brilliant outing in the first Test. The pacer returned in the final Test of the series and again performed with bat and ball to help the side win the Test in South Africa after a long gap. Notably, the Indian cricket has developed a culture where they paint the players face with the cake.
