'Thank you laddu for choosing us as your parents' - T Natarajan posts adorable photo with his daughter and wife

After starring in Australia, T Natarajan will be eyeing a similar performance when he plays his first game for India in the country next month. The left-arm pacer made his debut in international cricket in December during the tour of Australia. Natarajan was initially picked in the team as a net bowler after his impressive display in IPL 2020.

However, he went on to get a place in the ODI, T20I as well as Test teams due to injury to other players. And the Tamil Nadu ace grabbed the opportunity with both hands. He made his debut during the third and last ODI and made an instant impression. Natarajan picked up two wickets and more importantly gave India a wicket in the first powerplay.

In the first two ODIs, India had failed to get a wicket in the powerplay. It was followed by an impressive display in the T20Is where he picked up six wickets. His best performance of the series came in the very first game when he picked up 3/30. In the following game, he took 2 for 20 as India clinched the T20I series.

The tour only became better for him as he went on to make his Test debut too. Natarajan found a place in the playing eleven for the Brisbane Test after injuries sidelined several pacers. He did well on his Test debut too and picked up three important wickets in the first innings as India went on to win the game to clinch the four-match series.

Family time for T Natarajan

T Natarajan will be hoping that his strong start in international career continues when India locks horns against England. He has been named in the T20I squad for the five-match series, starting on March 12.  And ahead of the series, the pacer is spending some quality and much-deserved time with his wife and his newborn daughter Hanvika.

The pacer had missed the birth of his daughter in November as he was playing the IPL in UAE. Immediately after the IPL, he flew to Australia and only got to see his child last month after returning home. And on Monday, he took to Instagram to post a picture of himself with his daughter for the first time on social media. His wife was also accompanying him in the photo. Calling his daughter ‘laddu’, Natarajan wrote:

“Our little angel Hanvika. You are our life’s most beautiful gift.You are the reason why our life is so much happier.Thank you laddu for choosing us as ur parents.we love u always and forever”
