The outbreak of the Coronavirus has led to the players connecting with each other through social media. A lot of the former and current Indian cricketers are going live on Instagram during this quarantine period and are giving their fans moments to cherish. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is also making a conscious effort to stay in touch with his buddies and went live with AB de Villiers on Friday.
Earlier, he and Kevin Pietersen had chatted together reminiscing the days when they played together even as the latter asked some interesting questions to Kohli about his career. During their chat, Bollywood diva and the Indian captain’s wife Anushka Sharma had made a special appearance in the comments reminding her husband about the dinner.
Soon after that the chat had ended and her unique way of asking Virat Kohli to come for dinner had gone viral as well. Even on Friday, Anushka made her presence felt in a different way when Virat and De Villiers were involved in a friendly chat. It was the evening time which prompted her to switch on the lights of the room where her husband was sitting.
The love between the couple is well known to everyone and soon Kohli blushed live on chat thanking Anushka for the same. “Thanks my love,” he said even as AB de Villiers also got it and he too smiled.

During their candid chat, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers both also picked a combined India-South Africa ODI XI as well. MS Dhoni was handed over the responsibility to lead the side which had the likes of Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Jacques Kallis, Yuvraj Singh, Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn among others.
The superstar duo has also decided to auction their bats and jerseys from the 2016 IPL game against Gujarat Lions. It was a green game for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to raise awareness about the environment and both Kohli and De Villiers had smashed centuries at the Chinnaswamy stadium. The funds raised through the auction will be donated equally in India and South Africa for the nations’ fight against the Coronavirus.
