Jonny Bairstow struggled a bit with his form earlier in the year. However, he has fought back with some fantastic cricket for England. He has been in and out of the team but has now cemented his place with some amazing batting display. His recent Ashes inning and that partnership with Dawid Malan will be remembered by the fans for a long time.

Bairstow, being a wicket-keeper, has been performing very well for. He has scored 652 runs this year at an average of 34.31. His highest of 119 came against Australia in the recent 3rd Test of the Ashes. He has scored a century and three half-centuries in 2017, which has earned him a place in our Best Test XI.
