Never have people seen Mohammad Sami better like he bowled in the PSL. His pace was up, his balls were accurate and he meant business. His excellent performance was rewarded with a place back to the national side for the Asia Cup and World T20. Despite being a fast bowler in a hard-hitting format and shorter boundaries, his economy was the most miserly of all the bowlers in the PSL. His dot ball percentage was also the best in the PSL. His best came when he took his career’s second T20 fifer against the Kings in a deciding match.

Near Misses and Special Mentions:

1. Andre Russell (Islamabad United) – 16 wickets, most in the PSL.

2. Azhar Ali (Lahore Qalandars) – 182 runs, most by a captain.

3. Mohammad Asghar (Peshawar Zalmi) – 11 wickets, another emerging spinner.
