The Indian cricket team launched its new jersey ahead of the hugely awaited 2021 T20 World Cup that will be played in the United Arab Emirates. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) tweeted about the launch of the new jersey as well.
The pattern that is present in the jersey has been inspired by the cheers of the billion fans of Indian cricket, and the Indian cricketers will wear this jersey during the T20 World Cup this year.

Sourav Ganguly, the President of the BCCI stated that the Indian cricket team enjoys support across the world, and the excitement and energy of the fans can be celebrated through this jersey. The 49-year-old also added that this new jersey will give the team the support to emerge as the champions of the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli stated that the players have a lot of respect for the fans, and the official design of the jersey is special. Adding that the design of the jersey is striking, Kohli concluded by stating that the cricketers are thrilled to wear the jersey and make the fans proud.
