This wonderful league never fails to produce atleast one young sensation each season. In order to honor the youngsters who make a mark, the IPL awards the “Emerging player of the season” title to the most impressive youngster of the season and gives them valuable recognition that would serve as a springboard for their respective careers. Now let’s take a look at the youngsters who have managed to dazzle one and all and captivate everyone’s hearts with their stellar performances. He amassed over 350 runs and picked up 11 wickets . He also took a hat-trick to add even more laurels to his name. 2010: Saurabh Tiwary Saurabh Tiwary MI. He is a powerful striker of the cricket ball and can smolder and whack the deliveries for big ones with ease. He was one of the chief reasons why Mumbai Indians reached the finals of the season. He struck 3 wonderful fifties and showed that he was one for the future. 2011: Iqbal Abdulla Iqbal Abdullah KKR. (© Getty Images) For a bowler in t20’s containing runs is as equally important as picking up wickets. And Iqbal was one bowler who did both of those with his off spin bowling. There was no better candidate for the award as he picked up 16 wickets with a super impressive economy rate of 6.10. He was Kolkatta Knight Riders’ go-to bowler along with Sunil Narine that season. 2012: Mandeep Singh Mandeep Singh KXIP. He was picked by the KXIP franchise and he lapped up the opportunity with both the hands and played superb cricket throughout the season. He scored an amazing 432 runs that season a true testimony to his remarkable consistency. 2013: Sanju Samson Sanju Samson RR. The skillful Kerala lad showed that he’s got the temperament and the talent to bat against the best of the best bowlers in the world’s most competitive cricket league. He is not one who clobbers the sixes with force, but he plays with a conventional technique and relies on timing more than anything else. He surely is a future star in the making. 2014: Axar Patel Axar Patel KXIP.
