Also known as “Tiger Pataudi”, this man became an example of courage, determination and never giving up attitude. In the early days of his career, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi had immense interest in cricket and played county cricket in England. At the age of 20, he suffered an accident which made him lose the visioning of an eye. It was believed to the end of Pataudi’s career. At a time, where he struggled to pick up a glass in front of him, it would be daunting to even imagine him playing against the fast bowlers with such an impaired vision. But he never gave up and that devotion brought him back to the Indian Cricket team. “Tiger Pataudi” by name, went on to score 6 international centuries since then and also captained India. Under his leadership, India emerged to be one of the strongest teams of the time.
