India attained freedom fighting against the British in the year 1947 after the British ruled over the country for a span of 200 years. They entered into the nation to trade as the British East India Company, owing to the wealthy resources present in the country. But soon, India was seized by them and were the proclaimed rulers of the country. Numerous battles were fought and millions of lives were lost as a result of those movements and revolts. But such fights did not lead to cast a shadow in the cricketing field.
