‘This is distressing’ – Rohit Sharma finding it hard to come to terms with Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise
The Bollywood fraternity has endured quite a few blows in the last few weeks or so.
Sushant Singh Rajput, the ever so talented actor in the Indian film industry, bid goodbye to Mother Earth after he committed suicide. In the last eight weeks or, Bollywood has been jolted with some massive blows. To start with Irrfan Khan passed away followed by Rishi Kapoor’s demise. Sushant going away has added more misery to a country, which is already going through a rough time.
He was last seen in the movie Chhichhore alongside Shraddha Kapoor, the daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor. Rajput started his career with a few television shows, which included Pavitra Rishta, a show that became a household name back in the early 2010s. The 34-year-old Sushant made his Bollywood debut with Kai Po Che and there was no stopping the Bihar-born actor.

After his demise, condolences have poured in for him from every nook and corner of the country. Rohit Sharma, the vice-captain of the Indian T20I and ODI teams, also dropped a tweet. The 33-year-old has found it tough to fathom what has happened and termed it as ‘disturbing and distressing’.
The Nagpur-born took to Twitter and wrote, “This is distressing, can’t come to terms that this has happened. Really disturbing. Brilliant actor RIP brother.”

Earlier, Disha Patani and Kiara Advani, Sushant’s co-stars in the movie MS Dhoni-The Untold Story, also reacted on the actor passing away. Even as Disha posted a heartbroken emoji, Kiara was busy going through the memories of the movie, based on MS Dhoni, released back in 2016. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan and Virat Kohli have also reacted to the recent development.
As far as Rohit is concerned, he was set to lead the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was also set to make a comeback from injury in the T20 event. But he has had to wait after the IPL had to be postponed for an indefinite time period. At the present point in time, he has been spending time at his home with wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira.
