The next two balls cost singles before Manish Pandey struck a six on the fourth ball. Smith and Watson came out for RR with Narine bowling the super over. Watson started with picking up a couple and single on following deliveries. Watson managed to hit a four on the fourth ball before he picked up another single. Smith with a drive through covers managed to add couple more on the last ball as the Super over also ended in tie. However, Rajasthan Royals were declared winners on the basis of the boundary count (the team with more number of boundaries is declared a winner in case a super over also ends with equal scores for both sides.)
