The YouTube and TikTok communities have been fighting each other hammer and tongs since the past few weeks. The spat between both the communities is — which platform is a better option in terms of talent and entertainment.

The argument between both the communities reached on to a whole different altogether after one of India’s leading YouTuber, Ajey Nagar, better known as CarryMinati, shared a video in which he bashed the TikTok community to the core.

Meanwhile, India leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal, who is known to be an avid user of the TikTok app, has come under fire for tweeting in support of Ajey Nagar (CarryMinati).

Chahal, on Monday, put out a tweet saying, “Waiting YALGAAR”. He also tagged CarryMinati’s Twitter account in the tweet. Chahal’s tweet, especially when the tension is at its peak between both the communities, has irked many TikTok fans.

Chahal’s tweet came after Ajey Nagar shared a video on his channel titled ‘Yalgaar… coming soon’ where he revealed that he is going to share his side of the story after YouTube took down his recent most-popular video a week after its release.

Chahal’s tweet garnered a lot of attention and he was criticized a lot by TikTok users as the leg-spinner himself has been a regular user of the app. Since the enforcement of lockdown across the country, Chahal has been busy uploading many TikTok videos. The India international has shared a string of TikTok videos amid his quarantine and he has also involved his parents and sister in some of them.

The 29-year-old leg-spinner was last seen in action during India’s tour of New Zealand. Despite registering a win the T20I series, the Men in Blue suffered thumping defeats in the subsequent ODI and Test series.

Meanwhile, the cricketing action is currently at a halt due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Chahal was set to don the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey in this year’s edition of the IPL. However, the tournament has been postponed to an indefinite period in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

The Virat Kohli-led side will be eager to lift their maiden IPL trophy this season. However, considering the current situation across the world, RCB fans will have to wait for a while to see their favourite cricket stars back in action.
