After an absolute run-scoring extravaganza at Dubai International Stadium, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore edged past Mumbai Indians in the tenth game of IPL 2020. The game ultimately turned out to be a run-fest where both teams ticked the 200-run mark and the world also witnessed the second super over of IPL 2020.

RCB, after being put to bat first, amassed a daunting 201-run total on the back of AB de Villiers’ blistering half-century and Aaron Finch’s steady knock at the start. In response, Mumbai Indians’ run-chase was bolstered by 22-year-old Ishan Kishan’s stellar 58-ball 99, which almost took MI past the finishing line. Ishan was also assisted by Kieron Pollard, who whacked a 24-ball 60 and shifted the match in MI’s favour by his death overs’ fireworks.

To mark the win, Anushka took to social media to share a few snippets from the match along with a funny caption. Anushka captioned her Instagram story, “Phew! Too exciting a game for a pregnant lady What a team this one.” She also shared a wink and a red heart emoticon.

The Bollywood actress has been away from the silver screen for a considerable amount of time. Her last release was Aanand L Rai’s Zero alongside Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. While Anushka hasn’t announced her next project yet, she’s been active with her production ventures on OTT platforms. Meanwhile, during her pregnancy, she has been also sharing several photos through her social media handles.

Anushka recently was also in news for her reply to Sunil Gavaskar for making ‘distasteful’ remark. Many fans had misunderstood Gavaskar’s on-air comment as a sexist one but he eventually made it clear that it was not meant to demean the Bollywood actress.

Anushka even had shared an Instagram story to react to Gavaskar’s on-air comment. “That, Mr Gavaskar, your message is distasteful is a fact but I would love for you to explain why you thought of making such a sweeping statement on a wife accusing her for her husband’s game? I’m sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commentating on the game,” she had written.
