The elegant left-handed opening batsman from Bangladesh has an experience of playing 42 Test matches, 153 ODIs and 52 Twenty20 internationals. Tamim Iqbal has scored 3118 Test runs at an average of 39.46, 4713 ODI runs at 31.63 and 1154 runs in T20Is with an average of 24.55.

Being the countries most successful runscorer for the national team to date, he is the only player from Bangladesh in the list with an average of 42.92 outside Asia. He has scored 986 runs from his 23 appearances in an innings outside Asia in the last 10 years.

The 27-year old is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Bangladesh cricket and is arguably the hardest hitter of the cricket ball in the country. Tamim has over the years played his part in making Bangladesh a much better team.
