6. Sunil Gavaskar – 34 centuries:

The original little master Sunil Gavaskar scored 34 centuries in a career spanning 16 years and 125 Test matches. He broke the long standing record of 29 centuries held by Sir Don Bradman when he scored his 30^th Test century against West Indies at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Madras (now Chennai). He scored 236*, which is also his highest Test score in 1983. His record stood for 22 years until another little master broke it in 2005.
