He was a part of 56 Test wins for India in an illustrious career. He scored 5131 runs at an average of 65.78 including 15 tons and 23 fifties. At Rawalpindi in 2004, in the third and final match of the series against Pakistan, Dravid made a career-best 270 that helped India to win the series 2-1. He scored 5173 runs at an average of 64.66 including 17 tons and 19 fifties. At Colombo in 2006, in the first of the 2-match series against South Africa, Jayawardene made his career-best 374 and was involved in a world record partnership with Kumar Sangakkara. 8. He was part of 60 Test wins for the Proteas in a long and distinguished career. This remains the highest score by a visiting batsman at the ‘Home of Cricket’ and the 2nd overall. 7. Justin Langer – 5229 runs: Justin Langer. At Colombo in 2006 against South Africa, he scored career-best 287; the same match which also witnesses a triple ton from Jayawardene. Sanga was a part of 54 Test wins for the islanders in which he scored 5449 runs at an average of 71.69 including 19 tons and 20 fifties. 5. Sachin Tendulkar – 5946 runs: Sachin Tendulkar. The master was a part of 72 Test match wins for India in which he contributed 5946 runs at an average of 61.93 including 20 centuries and 24 fifties. The left-handed opening partner of Langer featured in 71 Test wins for his team and contributed 6154 runs including 23 tons and 19 fifties at an average of 55.44. This also includes his career best of 380 against Zimbabwe at Perth in 2003. 3. Jacques Kallis – 6379 runs: Jacques Kallis. This includes his career best knock of 224 against Sri Lanka at Cape Town in 2012. 2. Steve Waugh – 6460 runs: Steve Waugh.
