The greatest finisher in the One Day International history, Michael Bevan could do it all. Bat the team out of a sticky situation, accelerate the innings in the last overs and commander a close chase along with the tail-enders.

His ability to play spin well brought him much success in the sub-continent pitches and his ability to manoeuvre fast bowlers made him an asset in places like England and South Africa. He came in at number 5 or 6 and could control the game the way he wanted, whether hitting the big shots or taking cheeky singles. And he remained not out most of the times to take his team to victory.
