Top 10 batsmen with highest percentage of team runs in ODIs: When it comes to 50 over format, it is always considered as a batsmen dominated game. Certain talented run-getters have emerge from cricketing fraternity who have gone to make a name for themselves through their consistent run with the bat in ODIs. Since one-day international got into the blue of world cricket, various players have gone on take higher honours by contributing big in their team runs tally. The Delhi lad has been the backbone of Indian batting and has emerged on to become one of the most trusted and reliable batsman in world cricket. Virat has gone to contribute 17.07 percent of team runs in 161 games he played for men-in-blue. Since his debut in 2009, the team has managed 38581 runs. 9. Crowe has contributed 17.14 percent of runs for Kiwis with 4704 runs in 143 ODIs. The former skipper was also awarded with ‘The Wisden Cricketer of the Year’s Award’ in 1985. 8. Dean Jones- Australia (17.56): The Victorian is highly regarded as one of the best ODI batsmen in Australian cricket history. Jones played in the 1987 World Cup winning team, and was noted for his electric running between the wickets, outstanding out-fielding and aggressive batting especially against fast bowlers. He has scored over 6000 runs in a career lasting more than a decade. Jones has gone on to contribute 17.56 % of team’s 34559 runs in 164 games he played for the Aussies. 7. Amla has scored 5728 runs in his ODI career with an impressive average of 54.55 thus far.
