The former Sri Lankan maestro was an ecstatic middle order batsman for Sri Lanka to say the least. Also, with 10 centuries, Arvinda de Silva stands to be the player with second most number of runs at No 4 with 6870 runs in 197 innings. De Silva had struck 48 half centuries at the position and averaged 39.25. He was predominantly consistent at the position and often carved the path for Sri Lanka’s victory on major occasions.
