Known for his unorthodox stance this Caribbean batsman changed everyone’s approach towards the textbook style. Chanderpaul uses soft hands, canny deflections, and a whiplash pull-shot to maintain a Test average of around 50. He is only the second West Indian to score 10,000 Test runs after Brian Lara. With 11,867 runs in Test Chanderpaul is the second highest run getter for West Indies and seventh highest run scorer overall.
