In his first season as the skipper of Kings XI Punjab in 2008, Yuvraj took his team to the semi-finals. The left-handed batsman was quite much of a good skipper and has secured 21 IPL victories as a skipper out of 43 matches and has also lost in 21 matches. In his final season as a skipper, he captained Pune Warriors India on a not much successful campaign.
