This is for the fifth time in this list that we meet Sehwag. In December 2009 against Sri Lanka, Viru bettered all his records as he slapped his fastest double-century in Test cricket. He reached the 200 run mark in 168 balls. The dashing Indian opener went on to score 293 runs and fell just 7 runs short of making record 3 triple centuries in Test cricket. The Delhi lad struck 40 fours and 7 sixes in the sparkling knock. India went on to win the match easily and became the no.1 Test team in the world.
