<strong>Top 10 fastest fifties in IPL: </strong>The Indian Premier League (IPL) has brought all new flavor and added lot more spark in acceptability of T20 cricket. Kieron Pollard has the license to go for the kill right from the first ball that he faces and this is the role MI wants him to play against the risk of getting out. He has done that though not as consistently as the team would have liked but the overall package that he brings in is always worth having. In this particular innings he was magnificent as he made 66 runs in which the 50 came of just 20 balls with two 4s and 8 Pollard 6s.

The South African recruit in the KXIP team proved to be not only a good finisher but a real match winner for them; Miller made game out of matches which looked lost at one point. He along with Maxwell and Bailey on multiple occasions not only bailed them out of troubles but converted opportunities into successful ones. This particular innings was special as he hit 51 runs from 19 balls aided by six big 6s.

Owais Shah has a short IPL career of 23 matches between 2010 and 2013 yet he has been successful in making himself a part of the history of the tournament with some wonderful knocks. We all know this Jatt from Punjab for his spin bowling, how he can disturb the opposition line-up. But he also has that hidden ability, something which takes time to come out and is seen only when Bhajji is charged up. Harbhajan Singh playing this match against the Kings XI Punjab walked in when the game was almost over for MI and he could have given away his wicket as well. But instead he chose to fight, and what followed was an amazing innings full of fun, and sixes. Harbhajan enjoyed his time in the middle in his stay for 24 balls scoring 63 runs. Andre Russell is certainly the all-rounder of the Pepsi IPL 2015. The man has done the job for KKR every time that he has gone out to bat. Adam Gilchrist was never a player with technical perfections or a keen thinker while he batted, his approach to treat the ball on merit worked wonders for him in the Australian team as well as at the Deccan Chargers and KXIP. This knock was a huge one as he scored 85 runs from just 35 balls; his fifty for the DC came of merely 17 balls as he hit ten 4s and five Gilly 6s.

The Delhi Daredevils were in deep trouble chasing 173 against Gujarat Lions. They were 51/3 after 10 overs and needed another 122 runs in the last 10 overs with the top order back in the dugout. That is when their second most expensive pick South African all-rounder Chris Morris rose to the occasion. He hit 7 sixes on his way to his half-century, along with a couple of boundaries. He stayed unbeaten on 82 from 32 deliveries though couldn&#8217;t take his team home as they lost the match by a single run.

Who can forget this knock form the elder Pathan, he was at his absolute destructive best as he clearly ‘Murdered’ the SRH bowlers. This innings was all about power, he showed who was the superior half with this knock, earlier to it there were questions raised over his utility in the team and he not only answered the teams call but muted all his critics with this 22 balls 72 runs effort in which he also powered five 4s and seven huge killer 6s.

In this particular innings he was magnificent as he made 66 runs in which the 50 came of just 20 balls with two 4s and 8 Pollard 6s. </p>

<p>The South African recruit in the KXIP team proved to be not only a good finisher but a real match winner for them; Miller made game out of matches which looked lost at one point. He along with Maxwell and Bailey on multiple occasions not only bailed them out of troubles but converted opportunities into successful ones. This particular innings was special as he hit 51 runs from 19 balls aided by six big 6s. </p>

<p>Owais Shah has a short IPL career of 23 matches between 2010 and 2013 yet he has been successful in making himself a part of the history of the tournament with some wonderful knocks. He played for the Rajasthan Royals who have this knack of identifying and encouraging talent; even his native England found him good enough just for 17 T20Is. <p>We all know this Jatt from Punjab for his spin bowling, how he can disturb the opposition line-up. But he also has that hidden ability, something which takes time to come out and is seen only when Bhajji is charged up. Harbhajan Singh playing this match against the Kings XI Punjab walked in when the game was almost over for MI and he could have given away his wicket as well. But instead he chose to fight, and what followed was an amazing innings full of fun, and sixes. Harbhajan enjoyed his time in the middle in his stay for 24 balls scoring 63 runs. His innings panned out like- 1 4 4 4 1 6 0 1 0 0 6 6 6 1 0 2 6 1 4 1 4 6 0 W. He thus scored one of the faster fifties we have seen in IPL as he took only 19 balls to get there. In all he stuck 6 sixes and 5 fours, in the knock.</p>

<p>Andre Russell is certainly the all-rounder of the Pepsi IPL 2015. The man has done the job for KKR every time that he has gone out to bat. This was one of those games when the team needed him to play a blinder and he did so. Russell took just 19 balls to get to his fifty, it came in with the help of 4 maximum&#8217;s and 5 boundaries. He played for 21 balls in that innings and got run out on 51; one of the finest innings we have seen this IPL.</p>

<p>Adam Gilchrist was never a player with technical perfections or a keen thinker while he batted, his approach to treat the ball on merit worked wonders for him in the Australian team as well as at the Deccan Chargers and KXIP. This knock was a huge one as he scored 85 runs from just 35 balls; his fifty for the DC came of merely 17 balls as he hit ten 4s and five Gilly 6s. </p>

<p>The Delhi Daredevils were in deep trouble chasing 173 against Gujarat Lions. They were 51/3 after 10 overs and needed another 122 runs in the last 10 overs with the top order back in the dugout. That is when their second most expensive pick South African all-rounder Chris Morris rose to the occasion. He hit 7 sixes on his way to his half-century, along with a couple of boundaries. Morris took just 17 balls to get to his half-century and recorded the fastest fifty of IPL 2016. He stayed unbeaten on 82 from 32 deliveries though couldn&#8217;t take his team home as they lost the match by a single run.</p>

Suresh hit 87 from 25 balls against the KXIP in the previous season of the IPL.  His knock was full of boundaries, in all he hit as many as 12 fours and six Suresh 6s. </p>
