Top 10 highest individual scores in an ODI innings without a six: A century is a big achievement for any batsman in ODIs, but some times the centuries scored by batsmen are not the usual slam bang type. Sometimes the century made by batsmen are testaments to their strong mental and technical attributes, because sometimes, the situation or the environment requires no big shots and just pure stubborn cricket.

Here are the top 10 highest scores by batsmen in ODIs without a six.

10. Desmond Haynes (WI)  145* v New Zealand,  Albion  1985

West Indies met New Zealand in a ODI at Guyana and batted first. Desmond Haynes scored 145* and carried his bat through the innings. He hit 16 fours and got support from Viv Richards’ 51.
New Zealand was bowled for 129 with 8 batsmen getting clean bowled. West Indies won the match by 130 runs.
