This was another killer of an innings from Chris, though he was quite and patient in the first over against Sandeep Sharma of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) but it was the wait before the Gayle Storm. He scored 100 runs from 48 balls and by the time left-arm spinner Axar Patel got him on the 57th ball of his innings Gayle had already piled on 117 runs.
