Chris Gayle has been making his presence felt at the NatWest T20 Blast after flying to England following the Indian Premier League. Though the leagues change, teams change, oppositions and bowlers change; but what remains constant is the drubbing that he subjects the bowlers to. In this game against Kent he had a task and his statue at stake, so often we have heard critics call him a first innings bully, and someone who fails to testify under the pressure of chasing.  Gayle went ahead and hit 10 fours and 15 sixes to plunder 151 runs not out from just 62 balls; his strike rate in the innings was probably among the best we have seen at 243.54. Though the Caribbean colossus tried his best and stayed at the crease till the end, he could not win the game for Somerset as they fell 4 short of chasing 228 set ahead of them by Kent.
