Will it be difficult for you to guess the name of the player after reading 158*; yea it’s Brendon McCullum. Baz featuring for Warwickshire in the NatWest T20 Blast struck his best T20 individual score identical to his previous best 158* for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the first game of the Indian Premier League. It was Derbyshire at the other end taking down the beating; the New Zealand skipper took 42 balls to get to his hundred and struck the next 58 runs in another 22 balls. His 158* off 64 balls included 16, 4s and as many as 11, 6s. BMac maintained a SR of 246.87 in his innings. With the help of his knock Warwickshire set a target of 242 for Derbyshire, but all that the other team could manage was 182, and fell short of the target by 60 runs. It was one of the more classified and colored knocks that we have seen in T20 cricket.
