Top 10 highest individual scores in T20I: When T20 cricket started a decade earlier, no one would have thought that scoring hundreds would be a possibility in such a shorter format of Cricket. A half-century maybe, but a century? Nope, that’s almost impossible!

However, with the commencement of T-20, the face of Cricket changed drastically in the coming years. The tournaments like IPL only helped the batsman hone their skills in this format as shorter boundaries, batsman friendly wickets and thicker bats meant, a century was no longer a rare occurrence in T20’s.

Cricket became a more global brand, thanks to this format of Cricket as big money started to flow in this sport and people started becoming aware of the game. It’s fair to say that this extra short format of the game has done a lot of good to the world of Cricket, that’s why here we are, doing an article on the top ten highest individual scores in International T-20’s (which does not include domestic tournaments like IPL or CPL etc.)

 10. Brendon McCullum – 116* vs (Australia 2010)

It was one of the best T20 matches ever played in February 2010 between the arch rivals Australia and New Zealand as Brendon McCullum, the man who has got the knack of scoring big runs, capped off another brilliant knock of 116 which included 12 boundaries and 8 big ones.

The match eventually went into eliminator as New Zealand clinched the one-over thriller. One of the best innings among the many from the Kiwis skipper and also the first one for his side in the T-20’s.
